Chale Chalo - A. R. Rahman, Srinivas (Film: Lagaan)
(This shows how well A. R. Rahman uses ragas in a filmi framework)
Another great raga-laced Rahman song is "Chupke Se" from Saathiya. One of my all time favorites. In my opinion, this is one of the all time best songs ever composed. Sadhana Sargam has done a great job singing it. Saathiya is one of AR's masterpieces and it has a great mix of songs based on different genre.

http://www.sudeepaudio.com/filmsongs.htmThere are many more... Talking about songs and ragas, I am reminded of Shivji elaborating on the songs from Silsila. Three songs -- Sar Se Sarke Sar Ki Chunariya, Dekha Ek Khwab, and Neela Asman So Gaya -- are all set to Raga Pahadi but each of them has a totally different color. The first one is very folk-like dance song, the second one is a romantic and energetic song, and the last one is full of pathos! But all of them are Pahadi! This is a great example how great our ragadhari system is.
