Times of India, 13 Feb 2008:

This time Sonu has come up with something very interesting and innovative as he?s extended his appeal to classical music.

Sonu?s new album Classically Mild with Saregama India Ltd that was launched Monday night is a semi classical album with eight melodious tracks exploring varied human emotions, ranging from instilling patriotism to expressing loneliness to pure spiritual amazement.

Pandit Shivkumar Sharma and Harsh Goenka, Chairman RPG Enterprises launched the album and on the occasion, Sonu regaled the audiences with a few numbers. He said this album was closest to his heart because the entire team had put in a huge of amount of effort.

He related how they?d cry after composing each song. ?Those were tears of joy,? said Sonu. And just as he said that on the mike, his little son Nirvaan, who was with wife Madhurima, started crying. Guess the little one too was filled with joy and that was his way of expressing it! Kumar Sanu, Talat Aziz, Shaan and Aditya Narayan were present.

Also present were Kanwaljeet Singh and his wife Anuradha Patel. Speaking on the occasion, Atul Churamani, Saregama India said, ?Sonu is a legend in our industry. It gives us the greatest pride to be associated with such a masterpiece like Classically Mild. He has sought to spread the power of classical music to the youth and the mass listener through this piece of music.?
